Open Auditions for Jacksonville Playback Theatre
Sunday, April 13th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
at the Karpeles Manuscript Museum in Springfield

We desire for fresh individuals to expand the range of both age and ethnic representation in the group.  Unlike traditional auditions, there will be no script readings; we don't use scripts.  Instead, we will explain the "forms" of expression used in playback theater and together (as a group) we will play.  There is no charge for the audition/workshop; and there is no cost to be a member of playback theatre should their be mutual interest.

Our rehearsals are once a month on the second Sunday.  In addition, we usually perform once or twice a month.  Jacksonvill Playback Theatre is also looking for one or more individuals whose passion is music. Please, look around the site, read our current members bios and testimonials.  If this sounds like a good fit for you, or just one you would like to check out, please come to the audition.
